Art
Nancy loves to draw, since she was five years old. Her father saw his daughter's interest and joined her in art classes. During her childhood years she learned sketching, Chinese watercolour, acrylic painting and oil painting. At the end of the year graduation ceremony, she was awarded a prize by her Art Teacher. Nancy talent was also recognized by Vancouver City Hall, and her pavement stamp design was selected to represent Oakridge community sidewalk. With her achievement, she continuous her creative passion and accepted into Emily Carr University of Art + Design in Vancouver.

In 2007 at age 27, Nancy was commission to paint a series called Bamboos Of The World, which can be seen in Hong Kong HSBC central headquarter building lounge and bar area. This series provided the inspiration for her solo exhibition in 2008, “ 'Hidden Beauty' and 'Double Happiness' – Bamboos of the World” in Zee Stone Gallery, Hong Kong. She depicted 28 different type of bamboo around the world and was interview by South China Morning Post. The exhibition was a success and her painting were sold to Shanghai, Hong Kong, and Switzerland.

Nancy continuous painting for commission works over the years. She pursue her passion for Art and currently, based in Vancouver, British Columbia, with her family and children. In 2017, Nancy joined Chinese Artist Association of Canada. She also enjoys sharing her art techniques and did an open workshop at International Arts Gallery Vancouver for "Introduction to Paper Marbling".

In 2021 Nancy extend her passion in Art and open a workshop for children and adult to explore Art and Craft. The workshop provides Story & Craft, Inspired by Historical Artist, Drawing, and Painting.

Marbling paper is one of the oldest art form. The method uses floating pigments and dyes on water. Create pattern and transferring it onto paper and fabric.

Learning everything from line fundamentals all the way up to shading, perspective and portrait in various drawing style and applying painting techniques.
